SF Peninsula SD meetup, monthly networking and talks on JVM-based Languages and Agile or Test-Driven Development 

We're about lean organizations in general, and about applying lean thinking to software companies in specific. Lean Software Development can be used to improve the effectiveness of teams that may already be using agile software methods. This meetup is about exploring the philosophy of systems thinking and theory of constraints as it applies to software development.

The purpose of this group is to bring together working technology professionals (mentors) with local college students (apprentices) in the Bay Area to work on summer projects. We will kick things off with mixers for potential mentors/apprentices in the late spring. There will be separate regional mixers and ongoing BayTAP activities for San Francisco, the East Bay, and the South Bay.
